Not only the market is changing at a rapid pace, but also the way we work together is changing. The hierarchies become flatter and flatter and the teams more and more independent and self-organized. Most companies already do the recruiting together with their teams, they are in charge. But also within most companies, those responsibilities stop after the applicant is hired. But what about the on-boarding process? What about the probation? What about feedback cycles, expectation management? Without the typical hierarchies, these tasks become part of the work of the team. At Ideas Engineering we aspire to be a self-organized company since 2013 and we not only tried a lot of approaches to those problems, we also did many mistakes and learned many more things.
