WHAT... if only truly relevant results were displayed when searching for topics and articles?
The search for thematically correlating articles reaches its limits when irrelevant results dominate. Useful content that might help to find similar topics or previous stories often has to be sorted out from several suggestions. How can a query be refined without much effort and thus research made easier?
In order to search as effectively as possible for thematically related articles and to reduce irrelevant results, an add-on for the Content Exchange Platform (CEP) could be set up. A semantic analysis would sharpen concept-based suggestions according to various aspects (events, locations, organizations, people, products, keywords). Matching is fully automatic. Links between topics and articles would no longer have to be maintained manually.
