What if…
we could automatically collect all news on certain niche topics on a website?
Problem
Niche topics usually only appeal to a limited audience and are therefore not very attractive as a market. On the other hand, the sum of all niche themes covers an enormously large market. However, the editorial effort per niche market is usually too high to generate a profit.
Solution
Our solution for an efficient coverage of niche topics is an automatic message aggregator, which is prototypically implemented on biathlon-heute.net. Configured via whitelists and blacklists we filter, aggregate and sort news from our content exchange platform, social media and web services. The result is generated as a clear and appealing website. This can be reproduced with little effort for various marginal topics such as "Scottish Pirate Metal", "Furry Curling" or "Competitive Dog Grooming" and published as a separate website.
