journalistic content could finally be protected against plagiarism? How could the actual authors of an article be made traceable?
Problem
Creating journalistic content with value is a time-consuming task. All the more annoying when, for example, online articles are repeatedly copied and published by other platforms or news providers. Such a data theft can often go unnoticed as the search for plagiarisms is a great effort. How could content be made traceable and author rights protected as simply as possible?
Solution
The Copy Cat Killer wants to protect unique content. By analyzing various data, both the originator and copies of an article can be found on the Internet without a great deal of time. Since the creation of good content is expensive, the Copy Cat Killer should also encourage to take consistent steps against content thieves. For example, recidivists can be deterred.
