The internet is in the process of being re-shaped… becoming a virtual extension of our real world: three-dimensional, walkable, highly immersive - an upcoming market for billions of people.
As Team Immersive Media we are researching and prototyping potential news media products of this Mixed Reality future. By developing tomorrow's virtual news apps even today, we prepare the Axel Springer group for a world where physical space will be augmented with digital layers from many different players. And in doing so, we follow our mission to ensure quality journalism and freedom of expression also on the next level of the Internet.
