Team UX

Nice to meet you!

UX summarized

We’re the voice of the user at ideas. We work closely with product owners & developers to create great digital products that fulfill the user's needs. Another part of our work is implementing Design Thinking in product development processes within the Axel Springer Group; therefore, we support our clients with design thinking workshops and design sprints to secure a user-centered approach from the beginning of a challenge.

Team Interview

What did you learn from your teammates?

To break the rules. My teammates are all creative artists and the thing that I am always amazed by them because they always have an idea that doesn’t follow the existing rules, but it presents our result even better. So that is what I am always telling myself, think outside of the box, rules isn’t everything.

Nicole - Product Designer

You have endless resources and are about to reinvent journalism - tell us how you do it...

We understand that news media are going through a defining moment that demands rethinking existing structures and formats. Before considering solutions, we know the importance of a profound understanding of the current state. Starting with in-depth UX research, we would like to interview experienced journalists and journalism students, older and younger generations of news consumers, and people who refuse to consume journalistic outlets so far. We plan the next steps toward a new and more successful journalism approach with the learnings from the research.

Team UX

Which song describes a day at the ideas office the best, and why this one?

"Crazy in Love" Beyoncé
We are still in a mostly remote working situation it's always special for us to meet in the office. We are then super hyped like when listening to the song by Beyoncé.

Eduardo - UX Working Student

What are your highlights working at Ideas?

The diversity of projects and, with that, people we can work with.
We are product designers by heart, including research, UX, UI, motion design, and interaction design in our daily work - this allows us to collaborate on a wide range with teams on projects; from challenges with existing projects, research work or the creation of new products.
