Innovation framework

Everyone at ideas is welcome to join our innovation process by taking time during the week to develop and present ideas at our innovation funnel. Or by spending a week working with our innovation team. We believe that this spirit of constantly thinking out of the box & conducting research is also helping us with the challenges our clients challenges; we can incorporate the learning & research we do in our daily business to our client's needs.

Machine Learning

Just imagine you’re given hundreds of images where you need to judge its “attractiveness” & this is not only for one offer but thousands of offers. For example, at hotel.idealo.de, they have millions of hotel offers and more than 100 million images which require an attractiveness assessment. That’s why we supported idealo to build an aesthetic & technical quality classifier that assigns a quality score to those images with the help of deep learning.

Research & Prototypes

We encourage our colleagues to share their expertise and skills. We do weekly meetings to chair our work and enhance collaboration & exchange across the different teams. Once a year we organize sessions to show each other what we've learned in the past year. In doing so we can improve ourselves and the result we present.
